About the Rotary Club of New Minas Sunrise's Little Pantries Project
Give what you can. Take what you need. Working together for a better future!
Your local Rotary club has identified a need for easy-to-access food items for our neighbours in New Minas. Did you know that in Nova Scotia, the number of households whom have suffered some level of food insecurity is 15.4 per cent — almost one in six households — the highest rate recorded in any Canadian province.

Especially with the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, it is very difficult to get to a local food bank so we have decided to place some little pantries in the local New Minas area.
We are hoping that we can grow this project into more areas of the Annapolis valley as well as areas we may have missed in New Minas. If you would like to donate to the project or request a little pantry in your area please contact The Rotary Club of New Minas Sunrise below
